Charter Hall Group (ASX:CHC) (Charter Hall or the Charter Hall Group) were informed last evening after trading had closed, that Macquarie Group Limited (ASX:MQG) (Macquarie) would be selling a portion of its holding in Charter Hall, following an approach from an institutional investor.
After the market closed last night, Charter Hall was subsequently advised that a sale of approximately 15.9 million securities had occurred in after market trading.
The Gandel Group, Charter Hall’s largest securityholder, advised Charter Hall it was buying a portion of the securities sold by Macquarie, increasing their holding to approximately 19.9% of the Charter Hall Group.
