We enclose a Form 604 (Notice of Change of Interests of a Substantial Holder) for Charter Hall Funds Management Limited (CHFML) in relation to Charter Hall Office REIT (CQO).

As announced on 11 March 2011, CHFML acquired 1.3% of CQO units on issue under its preemptive right, taking its interest in CQO to 10%.

As at the close of trade today, Macquarie Bank Limited (MBL) holds approximately 4 million units in CQO over which CHFML has a relevant interest by virtue of a right of first refusal that continues to apply if MBL does not sell these units by 1 April 2011.

Accordingly, the Form 604 relates to CHFML’s relevant interest in CQO of 10.83%, comprising 49.3 million CQO securities (10.01%) and MBL’s 4.0 million CQO units (0.82%).
