Dear Sir/Madam,

Charter Hall Group - Request for Trading Halt

Charter Hall Group ( CHC ) requests a trading halt for a total of one trading day in respect of its stapled securities (ASX: CHC) to apply immediately until the commencement of trading on 1 May 2017.

The trading halt is requested due to a pending announcement by CHC of the outcome of a proposed capital raising which will commence today.

For the purposes of Listing Rule 17.1, CHC provides the following information:

  • (a) the trading halt is necessary to conduct the capital raising;

  • (b) the trading halt should remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of trading on 1 May 2017 or when CHC makes an announcement regarding the outcome of the capital raising; and

  • (c) CHC is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.

Please contact me if you require further information.

Yours faithfully
