UPDATE ON CONSORTIUM OFFER

The Independent Director Committee (IDC) of Charter Hall Office Management Limited (CHOML), the responsible entity of Charter Hall Office REIT (ASX: CQO) (CQO), provides the following update on the conditional agreement reached on the improved consortium proposal (Proposal) last updated to the ASX on 5 December 2011.

The Proposal was subject to a number of conditions, including execution of a binding Implementation Agreement on or before 22 December 2011. The IDC advises that the negotiation of this document is being finalised, and as such has not yet been executed. An update will be provided to ASX in due course.
