CHARTER HALL GROUP (CHG) comprising CHARTER HALL LIMITED ACN 113 531 150 (CHL) and CHARTER HALL PROPERTY TRUST ARSN 113 339 147 (CHPT)

NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTIONS 708A AND 1012DA OF THE CORPORATIONS ACT

Charter Hall Group ( CHG ) issued stapled securities in CHL and CHPT to Portico Pty Limited and Skunsh Pty Limited on 20 July 2007, in connection with the acquisition of a 50% interest in Commercial and Industrial Property Pty Ltd ( CIP ). Completion of the CIP transaction occurred on 20 July 2007 at the same terms and conditions as previously announced to the market on 5 June 2007.

CHG makes the following statements in relation to that issue:

Section 708A

This notice is given under paragraph (5)(e) of Section 708A of the Corporations Act 2001 (the Act ) within 5 business days after the day on which the relevant securities were issued.

The securities were issued without a disclosure document for those securities being prepared.

As at the date of this notice, CHL has complied with:

• The provisions of Chapter 2M of the Act as they apply to CHL; and

• Section 674 of the Act as it applies to CHL.

As at the date of this notice, there is no information which is required to be disclosed by section 708A(6)(f) of the Act.

Section 1012DA

This notice is given under paragraph (5)(e) of Section 1012DA of the Corporations Act 2001 (the Act ) within five (5) business days after the day on which the relevant securities were issued.

The securities were issued without a Product Disclosure Statement for those securities being prepared.

As a disclosing entity, Charter Hall Funds Management Limited ( CHFM ) (as responsible entity for CHPT) is subject to regular reporting and disclosure obligations.

As at the date of this notice, CHFM has complied with:

• The provisions of Chapter 2M of the Act as they apply to CHPT; and

• Section 674 of the Act as it applies to CHPT.

As at the date of this notice, there is no information which is required to be disclosed by section 1012DA(6)(f) of the Act.
