CHARTER HALL GROUP (CHG) comprising CHARTER HALL LIMITED ACN 113 531 150 (CHL) and CHARTER HALL PROPERTY TRUST ARSN 113 339 147 (CHPT)

NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTIONS 708A AND 1012DA OF THE CORPORATIONS ACT

On 13 June 2007 Charter Hall Group ( CHG ) issued stapled securities in CHL and CHPT to various investors to raise $133 million through the placement which had been announced on 5 June 2007. The placement was associated with the acquisition of a 50% interest in Commercial and Industrial Property Pty Limited, six Bunnings Warehouses and a neighbourhood shopping centre.

The time in which CHG is permitted to give this notice to ASX has been extended by an order of the Federal Court of Australia.

In order to permit the on-sale of such securities without the need for a Prospectus or Product Disclosure Statement, CHG makes the following statements.

Section 708A

This notice is given under paragraph (5)(e) of Section 708A of the Corporations Act 2001 (the Act ).

The securities were issued without a disclosure document for those securities being prepared.

As at the date of this notice, CHL has complied with:

• The provisions of Chapter 2M of the Act as they apply to CHL; and

• Section 674 of the Act as it applies to CHL.

As at the date of this notice, there is no information which is required to be disclosed by section 708A(6)(e) of the Act.

Section 1012DA

This notice is given under paragraph (5)(e) of Section 1012DA of the Corporations Act 2001 (the Act ). The securities were issued without a Product Disclosure Statement for those securities being prepared.

As a disclosing entity, CHFM (as responsible entity for CHPT) is subject to regular reporting and disclosure obligations.

As at the date of this notice, Charter Hall Funds Management Limited ( CHFM ) (as responsible entity for CHPT) has complied with:

• The provisions of Chapter 2M of the Act as they apply to CHPT; and

• Section 674 of the Act as it applies to CHPT.

As at the date of this notice, there is no information which is required to be disclosed by section 1012DA(6)(f) of the Act.
