APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

Charter Hall Group (ASX:CHC) today announced that David Deverall will join the Board of Charter Hall Limited and Charter Hall Funds Management Limited as a non-executive director, effective immediately.

Mr Deverall is Managing Director of Deverall Advisory, a consulting firm which provides strategic and corporate advice to CEOs and boards in the wealth management sector. Prior to founding Deverall Advisory, Mr Deverall was the Managing Director and CEO of Perpetual Limited for eight years and during this time he was also Chairman of the peak wealth management industry body, The Financial Services Council.

Mr Deverall has extensive experience in financial services, funds management and strategy having also been Group Head of Funds Management and Head of Strategy at Macquarie Group.

Charter Hall Chairman, Mr Kerry Roxburgh said: “We are delighted that David has accepted our invitation to join the Board. David’s funds management and strategic expertise in the listed company environment will complement and build on the existing skills on our Board. We welcome David as a Board member in the Charter Hall team.”

Mr Deverall will stand for re-election to the Board at the next General Meeting.
