CHARTER HALL GROUP BOARD CHANGES

Charter Hall Group (ASX: CHC) today announced that following her move to New York, Independent Non-Executive Director, Patrice Derrington, will be retiring from and will not seek re-election to the Charter Hall Group Board at the company’s Annual General Meeting, to be held on 10 November 2010.

Ms Derrington has served on the Charter Hall Group Board for five years, also holding the role of Chair of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee from 2005 to 2009. Patrice has made a significant contribution to the Group during this time and the Board wishes to place on record its sincere appreciation for her service.

After a lengthy process to identify potential directors, Anne Brennan has agreed to join the Board as a Director with effect from today.

Anne Brennan, an Independent Non-Executive Director of Myer Holdings Limited, brings strong financial credentials and business experience to Charter Hall. Anne has worked in a variety of senior management roles in both large corporates and professional services firms and has 30 years experience in financial management, treasury, audit, risk management, tax, investor relations and ASX and statutory reporting.

Anne has been the Finance Director of the Coates Group and the Chief Financial Officer for CSR. Prior to her role at CSR, Anne was a partner in three professional services firms; KPMG, Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. She has 13 years audit experience and 12 years experience in Corporate Finance and Transactions Services practices. Anne was also a member of the national executive team and a board member of Ernst & Young.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from University College Galway. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
