Byggfakta Group acquires Familjehemsbanken in Sweden

Byggfakta Group has acquired 100 percent of Familjehemsbanken AB, through its subsidiary Marknadsdata Information in Ljusdal ("SSIL"). With the acquisition, Byggfakta Group strengthens its offering within the Healthcare business area.

Familjehemsbanken, founded in 2009, conducts contact mediation between family homes and municipalities, companies and organizations within family home care in Sweden. The company has since its inception managed to attract many of Sweden's municipalities and consultants as customers and today has more than 200 customers and over 1,000 updated applicants for family homes in its database.

"The synergies between Familjehemsbanken and SSIL - for care and nursing, are great. We get indepth cooperation with the country's municipalities, and we can also strengthen our position as the meeting place between civil society and social services, in order to apply it in further areas where we can create value. It will be another step towards the position as a total supplier of market information within health and care, as well as the social services' right hand.", Says Emmy Pettersson, Business Area Manager for Healthcare.

Familjehemsbanken had net sales of approximately MSEK 2.2 during the financial year 2021 and has 3 employees at the head office in Fjugesta. The company will be consolidated in the Other operations operating segment as of March.
