Appointment of Rachel Walsh to the Board

Bremworth Limited (NZX: BRW) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel Walsh as an independent director, effective from today. Rachel will also take up the role of Chair of the Audit Committee.
Rachel is a senior financial executive and a qualified chartered accountant. She is currently chief financial officer of Datacom Group Limited, a role she has held for the last three years. Prior to this, she was chief financial officer for listed healthcare company, Abano Healthcare Group, for five years. Rachel has also worked internationally for Rank Group and as a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Chair of Bremworth, George Adams, said: “We are delighted to welcome Rachel to the Board. We were impressed with her financial and commercial acumen and her passion for sustainable products, which aligns with Bremworth’s purpose and values. Rachel’s appointment supports our commitment to a diverse Board and she brings new skills and viewpoints to the table. She will be a valued contributor as we move forward with our new strategy.”

Rachel has been appointed by the Board of Directors, as permitted under Bremworth’s constitution. She will hold office until Cavalier’s 2021 Annual Meeting at which time she will offer herself for election by shareholders.
