टोलनाक्यांवर १०० मीटरपेक्षा मोठी रांग असल्यास 'टोलमुक्ती'

मुंबई: राष्ट्रीय महामार्ग प्राधिकरणाच्या टोल नाक्यांवर होणाऱ्या कोंडीतून आता वाहनचालकांची सुटका होणार आहे. टोल नाक्यांवर १०० मीटरपेक्षा अधिक अंतरापर्यंत वाहतूक कोंडी होऊन वाहनांच्या रांगा लागल्या असतील, तर टोल न आकारताच वाहनांना पुढे पाठवण्यात येणार आहे. याबाबत राष्टीय महामार्ग प्राधिकरणाने देशभरातील टोल नाक्यांसाठी नवीन मागर्दशक तत्त्वे आखली आहेत. या नियमाची अंमलबजावणी करण्यासाठी टोल नाक्यांवर १०० मीटरपर्यंत पिवळी रेषा आखली जाणार असल्याची माहिती प्राधिकरणाकडून देण्यात आली. जोपर्यंत वाहनांची रांग १०० मीटरपेक्षा कमी होत नाही, तोपर्यंत त्या चालकांकडून टोल घेतला

नाक्यांवर फास्टॅग अनिवार्य करण्यात टोलची आल्यानंतर रक्कम घेतली ऑनलाइनच जाते. फास्टॅगमार्फत टोल घेताना प्रवाशांचा झटपट प्रवास होईल, अशी आशा प्राधिकरणाला होती. परंतु काही टोल नाक्यांवर टोल घेताना तांत्रिक कारणास्तव बराच वेळ जातो. त्यामळे चालकांना मोठा मनस्ताप होत असल्याच्या अनेक तक्र ारी प्राधिकरणाकडे येत होत्या. त्या पार्श्वभूमीवर चालकांना होणारा मनस्ताप पाहता नवीन मागदर्शक तत्त्वे लागु करण्यात आली आहेत. गर्दीच्या वेळी प्रत्येक वाहनाला दहा सेकंदापेक्षा अधिक थांबावे लागू नये असे उद्दिष्ट ठेवून नवीन मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वे निश्चित करण्यात आली आहेत, असे जाणार नाही. असे मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वात प्राधिकरणाकडन सांगण्यात आले.

चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यातील दारूबंदी अखेर उठली!

मुंबई : मोठ्या प्रमाणावर सुरू असलेली अवैध दारूविक्री आणि गुन्हेगारीतील वाढ रोखण्यासाठी चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यातील दारूबंदी उठविण्याचा निर्णय मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ्ठाकरे यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली गुरुवारी झालेल्या मंत्रिमंडळ बैठकीत घेण्यात आला.

तत्कालीन देवेंद्र फडणवीस सरकारने १ एप्रिल २०१५ रोजी लाग् केलेली दारूबंदी उठविण्यास डॉ. अभय बंग यांच्यासह अनेक सामाजिक कार्यकर्त्यांनी. महिला व नागरिकांनी आणि मंत्रिमंडळ बैठकीत काही मंत्र्यांनीही विरोध केला.

तत्कालीन अर्थमंत्री सुधीर ्मुनगंटीवार यांनी चंद्रपूरमध्ये दारूबंदी लागू करण्यासाठी पुढाकार घेतला होता. अनेक ग्रामपंचायती. महिला संघटना, बचतगट आर्दीनी दारूबंदीसाठी ठराव केले होते.

गुन्हेगारीत वाढ: बारुबंदीमुळे चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यात गुन्हेगारीत वाढ झाली. दारूबंदीपूर्वी म्हणजे २०१०-२०१४ या काळात १६ हजार १३२ गुन्हे दाखल झाले होते. दारूबंदीनंतर म्हणजे २०१५-२०१९ या काळात ४० हजार ३८१ गुन्हे दाखल करण्यात आले. दारुबंदीपूर्वी एक हजार ७२९ महिला गुन्हेगारीची प्रकरणे होती. दारुबंदीमध्ये ४०४२ महिलांवर गुन्हे दाखल करण्यात आले. तर बालकांचा अवैध ढारूसाठी वापर करण्याची संख्याही वाढली.
