Symons Hill Project
Boadicea Resources Symons Hill Project in the Fraser Range is located immediately adjacent to the Nova discovery of Sirius Resources.
The Symons Hill Project is east of Norseman and approximately 200 kilometres southeast of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, and covers an area of 123 square kilometres.
The Fraser Range has received a significant upgrade in its prospectivity with the discovery of the Nova Nickel-Copper discovery by Sirius Resources.
Boadicea Resources has obtained a copy of the publicly available geochemistry via WAMEX and reviewed the data and its relevance to Boadicea’s planned exploration at Symons Hill. The data has been plotted on available aeromagnetics and a number of interesting areas and anomalous Nickel values within the Boadicea licence have been identified.
Boadicea Resources has recently completed an extensive soil sampling program of approximately 600 samples covering the entire Symons Hill licence. This sampling will follow up on the anomalous areas defined to date. Analytical results and interpretation are expected by the end of February 2013.
Murrin Murrin Project
Boadicea Resources Murrin Murrin Project comprises a number of Mining and Prospecting licences located east of Leonora in Western Australia.
An extensive search of past exploration reports has recently been completed which indicates that modern, systematic exploration has not been undertaken over these licences.
The prospectivity of the area is evidenced by numerous shallow historic workings and the recent announcement by Kumarina Resources Ltd of significant gold intersections at their Malcolm/Challenger project approximately 7 kilometres to the north of our licences.
A field trip to geologically map the licences is proposed in the next quarter which will form the basis of a detailed soil and rock chip sampling program.
Calypso Project
The Calypso Project comprises three prospecting licences located 22 kilometres east of Leonora in Western Australia.
Boadicea has commenced data compilation whereby past drilling results by previous exploration companies are being digitized in order to produce a 3D model for evaluation and proposed drilling program.
