In reference to the proposed acquisition of biosimilars assets of Viatris Inc., by Biocon Biologics Limited ("BBL"), subsidiary of Biocon Limited, please be informed that BBL and its subsidiaries have executed a Debt Facility Agreement which is classified as a Sustainabilitylinked Loan (SLL) amounting to US$1.2 billion on November 20, 2022, the proceeds of which shall be used for funding the acquisition of Viatris Inc.'s biosimilars business and acquisition related expenses.
