Following the exercise of share options by option holders under BEWI ASA's (BEWI

or the Company) share option programme, the board of directors has resolved to

increase the Company's share capital by NOK 374,298, by the issuance of 374,298

new shares at a subscription price of NOK 22.96 per share (the Subscription

Price), by use of the authorisation granted by the general meeting on 2 June

After the issuance of the new shares, the Company's share capital will be NOK

191,722,290, divided into 374,298 shares, each with a par value of NOK 1.00. By

the share capital increase, BEWI has increased the total number of shares by

approximately 0.20 per cent.

The following persons discharging managerial responsibilities (PDMRs) in the

Company have exercised options under the share option programme at a strike

price equivalent to the Subscription Price:

(i) Petra Brantmark, General Counsel, has exercised 8,548 options; and

(ii) Charlotte Knudsen, Director of IR and Communications has exercised 9,000.

The exercised options have been granted in accordance with the Company's share

option programme described in the Company's latest annual financial statements.
