NICHOLAS CHAN TO RESIGN FROM HIS ROLE AS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AT BETMAKERS

BetMakers Technology Group Ltd (ASX:BET) ( BetMakers or the Company ) advises that Non-Executive Director, Nicholas Chan, has resigned from as a director of the Company, effective today.

Commenting on Mr. Chan’s resignation, BetMakers’ President and Executive Chairman, Matt Davey, said, “On behalf of the Board of BetMakers, we thank Nick for his significant contribution to the Company since joining the Board in 2015 - a period in which Nick also served as Non-Executive Chairman from October 2015 until February 2023. We are grateful to Nick for his leadership and guidance of BetMakers, and we wish him well as he pursues his other business interests based in the US."

Commenting on his tenure as Non-Executive Director, Nick Chan said, “With all the pillars now in place for BetMakers’ next phase of growth and increasing demands on my time from my other interests, now is the right time to step down from the BetMakers Board. It has been a privilege to serve the Company for the past eight years. BetMakers has become a highly respected technology provider for the global wagering and gaming industry with a proven track record, and I look forward to following the Company’s progress over the coming years.”

At this stage there is no intention to replace Nick’s role on the board. The Board’s current composition is appropriate for the current size and profile of BetMakers.
