Banca IFIS has filed the merger projects of IFIS Factoring and Interbanca The mergers completion is expected in August and October 2017

Mestre (Venice), 7 th June 2017 – In relation to the acquisition of the former GE Capital Interbanca Group announced on 28th July 2016 and finalised on 30th November 2016, Banca IFIS announces that today – following the authorisation received by the Bank of Italy – the merger projects of Interbanca S.p.A. and IFIS Factoring S.r.l. into Banca IFIS S.p.A were filed.

The merger of IFIS factoring S.r.l. will be presumably completed in August 2017 and the merger of Interbanca S.p.A. in October 2017.

The merger projects fit into Banca IFIS's broader growth and development strategy, already declared at the closing of the acquisition of the former GE Capital Interbanca Group. The rationalization of the Group's structure and of its internal organizational set-ups will enable greater fluidity both in the operations and in the decision making, increasing integration levels, efficiency and income. The merger of IFIS Leasing S.p.A. will be completed within 2018.
