Roberto Ferrari designated as Banca Ifis's new CFO

Milan, 18 September 2023 - Banca Ifis strengthens its management team with the addition of Roberto Ferrari who, starting 20 September, has been designated for appointment to the position of Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Ferrari reports directly to the CEO, Frederik Geertman.

Over the past 20 years, Ferrari has contributed to the development of one of Italy's leading banking groups, successfully carrying out complex operations both in terms of acquisitions and internal process development.

Ferrari comes to Banca Ifis from Bper Banca where he held the same position of Chief Financial Officer, in addition to positions in some of its main subsidiaries (Banco di Sardegna, Optima Sgr and Bper International). Previously, he worked in leading Italian and international financial institutions, such as Commerzbank, Société Générale, Epta Sim and San Paolo Bank.
