Tommaso Di Russo appointed Head of the Chief Financial Officer & Strategy Area of Banca Generali
Milan, 7 April 2017 – Banca Generali announces that Tommaso Di Russo will take up the role of Head of the Chief Financial Officer & Strategy Area with effect from Monday, 10 April 2017.
Di Russo will report directly to Gian Maria Mossa, Chief Executive Officer of Banca Generali, heading up the Area that coordinates the following departments: Administration, Planning and Control, Strategic Planning, Investor Relations, and Finance, the staff of which has been expanded and which has been entrusted to former CFO Paolo Tamagnini.
Di Russo, age 52, has significant experience in the financial sector derived from his role as CFO of Poste Vita (assets of €100 billion) in the past five years and, before that, his work as CFO of Banca Fideuram, which he joined in 1999 as Head of Planning. During these experiences, he was responsible for ordinary finance operations and the coordination of extraordinary finance operations including acquisitions, IPOs and bond issuance. He has also served in various positions at companies (Deputy Chairman of Fideuram Vita and director of San Paolo Invest, Fideuram Asset Management Ireland and Euro-Trésorerie).
