PAOLO TAMAGNINI APPOINTED NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Milan, 1 September 2016 – Paolo Tamagnini has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Banca Generali, reporting directly to the Deputy General Manager Finance & Operations, Stefano Grassi.

Over the course of his career, the new CFO has gained significant experience in financial planning and management control, in addition to developing a thorough knowledge of financial markets, having worked in important Groups, including Assicurazioni Generali and Deutsche Bank.

Paolo Tamagnini will also serve as Manager responsible for preparing the Company's financial reports.

After graduating in Economics from the Cattolica University of Milan, Paolo Tamagnini started his professional career in 1997, working as credit analyst at Fitch. Subsequently, he served as analyst at leading Italian and international brokers, including Deutsche Bank, where he later dealt with institutional customers. In 2013, he took up a position in strategic planning and control at Assicurazioni Generali, with direct responsibility for Italy, Spain and Portugal.
