January 2020 Net Inflows: € 573 million

Milan, 10 February 2020

The Azimut Group recorded total net inflows of € 573 million in January 2020.

Total Assets under Management stood at € 46.0 billion, and including assets under administration reached € 59.2 billion at the end of January.

Pietro Giuliani, Azimut's Chairman, comments: "With January's results we begin to see the professionalism and timely action of our financial advisors. In a period of such low interest rates, they reviewed the asset allocation of clients and inserted alternative products with higher returns (obviously with an illiquid "cost" associated to that part of the investment). I'd like to congratulate all Azimut and Azimut Libera Impresa colleagues for the intense work over the past few months. Thanks to both internal and external competencies, we have developed a full suite of alternative investment products which is unique to the Italian market. Finally, I see that "sceptics" continue to lose their client's money by shorting or underestimating the value of the work we are doing to benefit our customers, our shareholders and the country in which we operate. In this month alone, Azimut added over € 450 million to be invested mainly in the Italian real economy."

Azimutis Italy's leading independent asset manager (active since 1989). Raccolta netta in gennaio positiva per € 573 milioni

Milano, 10 Febbraio 2020

Il Gruppo Azimut ha registrato nel mese di gennaio 2020 una raccolta netta positiva per € 573 milioni.

Il totale delle masse comprensive del risparmio amministrato si attesta a fine gennaio a € 59,2 miliardi, di cui € 46,0 miliardi fanno riferimento alle masse gestite.

Pietro Giuliani, Presidente del Gruppo, commenta: "Con la raccolta di gennaio si comincia a vedere la velocità di reazione e la professionalità dei nostri consulenti finanziari. In un periodo di tassi bassi rivedono con i clienti l'asset allocation dei loro portafogli inserendo prodotti alternativi atti a perseguire un maggior rendimento ("facendo pagare" ovviamente un prezzo di illiquidità su una parte dell'investimento fatto). Faccio i complimenti anche a tutti i colleghi di Azimut, e Azimut Libera Impresa, per l'intenso lavoro volto a sviluppare un'offerta di prodotti alternativi, unica in italia, tramite competenze interne ed esterne al gruppo. In ultimo constato che i "gufi e gli scettici" continuano a far perdere i soldi ai loro clienti andando avanti a shortare o/a sottovalutare il valore del lavoro che stiamo facendo a vantaggio dei nostri clienti, dei nostri azionisti e del paese in cui operiamo. Questo mese azimut ha aggiunto oltre € 450 mln da investire principalmente nell'economia reale italiana."
