1H 2017 Net Inflows: € 3.4 billion June Net Inflows: € 557 million

Milan, 7 July 2017

The Azimut Group recorded total net inflows of € 557 million in June 2017, reaching € 3.4 billion since the beginning of the year.

The net inflows figure of this month benefited from the consolidation of SDB, the second company acquired in Switzerland through AZ Swiss & Partners. Net of the impact of this acquisition, the Group still recorded net inflows in the region of € 152 million in June.

Total assets under management stood at € 38.4 billion, and including assets under administration reached € 47.2 billion, +8% YtD.

Sergio Albarelli, Azimut's CEO, comments: "Thanks to the recent acquisition in Switzerland, the contribution of our foreign operations continues to rise both in terms of AuM as well as Net Inflows, confirming that the expansion abroad is a fundamental part of our development. The month of June, impacted by further redemptions from certain institutional clients, saw the end of repos launched over the last few years and highlights how our network is focusing on higher quality advisory services. Lastly, towards the end of the month, we announced the second employee purchase plan on Azimut Holding shares, involving 1193 participants for an equivalent total value (calculated on the entire length of the plan) of ca. 34 million euro. A further testimony of the uniqueness of our business model."

Raccolta netta nel primo semestre: € 3,4 miliardi Raccolta netta in giugno positiva per € 557 milioni

Il Gruppo Azimut ha registrato nel mese di giugno 2017 una raccolta netta positiva per € 557 milioni, portando così la raccolta netta da inizio anno a superare € 3,4 miliardi.

Il dato di raccolta ha beneficiato del consolidamento di SDB, la seconda società acquistata in territorio elvetico tramite AZ Swiss & Partners. Al netto del consolidamento delle masse da quest'ultima, il Gruppo Azimut ha conseguito nel mese di giugno una raccolta netta positiva di circa € 152 milioni.

Il totale delle masse comprensive del risparmio amministrato si attesta a fine giugno a € 47,2 miliardi, +8% da inizio anno, di cui € 38,4 miliardi fanno riferimento alle masse gestite.

Sergio Albarelli, CEO del Gruppo, commenta: "Grazie anche alla recente acquisizione siglata in Svizzera, continua a crescere in modo significativo il contributo delle attività estere, sia nel patrimonio sia nella raccolta, a ulteriore dimostrazione che anche l'espansione internazionale è elemento ormai fondamentale per il nostro sviluppo. Il mese di giugno, che nel dato finale ha risentito dei disinvestimenti di alcuni mandati istituzionali, ha visto completarsi il processo avviato da inizio anno di chiusura dei contratti di gestione pronti contro termine lanciati negli anni scorsi confermando la capacità dei nostri consulenti di focalizzarsi su soluzioni ad alto contenuto di servizio. A fine mese, inoltre, è stato avviato il secondo piano di acquisto di titoli della società che, sommato al precedente, coinvolge 1193 partecipanti per un controvalore complessivo (calcolato sull'intera durata dei piani) pari a circa 34 milioni di euro. Un'ulteriore testimonianza dell'unicità del nostro modello di servizio."
