September Net Inflows: € 383 million 9M 2017 Net Inflows: € 4.5 billion

Milan, 11 October 2017

The Azimut Group recorded total net inflows of € 383 million in September 2017, exceeding € 4.5 billion since the beginning of the year.

The net inflows figure of this month benefited from the consolidation of Wealthmed, the latest Australian advisory company entering the AZ NGA perimeter. Net of the impact of this acquisition, the Group still recorded net inflows in the region of € 313 million in September.

Total assets under management stood at € 39.4 billion, and including assets under administration reached € 48.5 billion.

Sergio Albarelli, Azimut's CEO, comments: "The positive growth trend is continuing also in the month of September -a historically weak month- where we recorded 383 million euro of net inflows. On one side, the result is benefitting from our international activities that are being carried out with great success, as demonstrated by the latest deal in Iran -the second largest economy in the Middle East- where Azimut has been the first global financial institution entering the market. Il Gruppo Azimut ha registrato nel mese di settembre 2017 una raccolta netta positiva per € 383 milioni, portando così la raccolta netta da inizio anno a superare € 4,5 miliardi.

Il dato di raccolta ha beneficiato del consolidamento di Wealthmed, l'ultima società di consulenza finanziaria in Australia entrata a far parte di AZ NGA. Al netto del consolidamento delle masse da quest'ultima, il Gruppo Azimut ha conseguito nel mese di settembre una raccolta netta positiva di circa € 313 milioni.

Il totale delle masse comprensive del risparmio amministrato si attesta a fine settembre a € 48,5 miliardi, di cui € 39,4 miliardi fanno riferimento alle masse gestite.

Sergio Albarelli, CEO del Gruppo, commenta: "Il positivo trend di crescita del Gruppo è proseguito anche a settembre, mese storicamente debole e poco movimentato, in cui abbiamo registrato una raccolta netta di 383 milioni di euro. Il risultato beneficia in particolare della strategia di espansione estera che portiamo avanti con successo, come dimostra la nuova partnership siglata per sviluppare il mercato del risparmio gestito in Iran, seconda maggiore economia del Medio Oriente, in cui entra per la prima volta una realtà finanziaria globale. Il dato di raccolta conferma, inoltre, che l'ampliamento e la diversificazione dell'offerta del Gruppo rappresentano la strada efficace per fronteggiare le sfide del settore e la crescente domanda di consulenza finanziaria da parte dei risparmiatori."
