Net Inflows in April: € 1.1 billion

Best monthly figure, net of acquisitions, ever recorded by the Group: € 782 million

The Azimut Group recorded total net inflows of € 1.1 billion in April 2016, reaching € 2.8 billion since the beginning of the year.

The net inflows figure of this month benefited from the consolidation of two companies, as announced in March. Priority Advisory, the latest Australian advisory company entering the AZ NGA perimeter, and Sigma Funds Management, an Australian asset manager specialized in "value" investing. Moreover, throughout an existing practice owned by AZ NGA, the first example of acquisition of a book of clients and Assets (400 and A\$ 97mn respectively) was finalized. Net of the impact of these two acquisitions, the Group still recorded net inflows in the region of € 780 million in April.

Azimut also launched, in April, a new product within the Luxembourg based umbrella fund AZ Fund 1 called AZ Arbitrage Plus. The product entails a similar philosophy to the existing AZ Arbitrage, which invests mainly in equity instruments issued by companies undergoing "extraordinary" transactions, but on top of this it invests in arbitrage strategies that enable the fund to diversify its investments also in the fixed income space.

Total assets under management stood at € 32.6 billion, and including assets under administration reached € 39.0 billion.

It is even more remarkable if we consider the uncertain environment in which it was achieved. This result is thanks to both the professional attitude of our financial advisors, as well as the quality of our product platform developed in the last few years, where we continue to attract new talents. The positive trend includes also the activity overseas, and in particular Australia, where not only we are continuing to consolidate high quality practices, but we are also hiring professionals with huge talent such as the new Head of Distribution of AZ Sestante who has a solid experience in the industry, and who will work with banking platforms in order to promote funds launched through AZ Sestante."

Raccolta netta in aprile positiva per € 1,1 miliardi

Miglior dato mensile mai registrato dal Gruppo al netto delle acquisizioni: €782mln Raccolta netta nei primi quattro mesi del 2016: € 2,8 mld

Il Gruppo Azimut ha registrato nel mese di aprile 2016 una raccolta netta positiva per € 1,1 miliardi, raggiungendo dunque € 2,8 miliardi dall'inizio dell'anno.

Il dato di raccolta ha beneficiato del consolidamento di due società in Australia già annunciate nel mese di marzo. Priority Adviosry, l'ultima società di consulenza finanziaria che entra a far parte di AZ NGA, e Sigma Funds Managament, un gestore azionario australiano specializzato nello stile "value". Inoltre, tramite una practice già presente nella scuderia di AZ NGA, si è concluso il primo esempio di acquisizione di un book di clienti e AuM (rispettivamente 400 e A\$ 97mn). Al netto delle due acquisizioni, il Gruppo Azimut ha conseguito nel mese di aprile una raccolta netta positiva di circa € 780 milioni.

Nel mese di aprile è inoltre partito AZ Arbitrage Plus, il nuovo comparto del fondo lussemburghese multi comparto AZ Fund 1 che riprende la filosofia del precedente AZ Arbitrage, investendo in titoli azionari di società coinvolte in Offerte pubbliche di acquisto (Opa) annunciate, a cui si aggiungono nuove strategie di arbitraggio che consentono al prodotto di diversificare gli investimenti anche nell'universo obbligazionario.

Il totale delle masse comprensive del risparmio amministrato si attesta a fine aprile a € 39 miliardi, di cui € 32,6 miliardi fanno riferimento alle masse gestite.
