August 2015 Net Inflows: € 427 million

Milan, 8 September 2015

The Azimut Group recorded total net inflows of ca. € 427 million in August 2015, thereby bringing total net inflows since the beginning of the year to overcome € 4.7 billion (+13% vs. the same period of 2014).

Net Inflows in Italy totaled ca. € 400 million, while overseas it is worth highlighting the consolidation of LFPS, the third Australian advisory company entering the AZ NGA perimeter with ca. € 110 million of assets under administration, as well as an extraordinary outflow from the Brazilian operations for ca. € 80 million.

Total assets under management stood at € 29.9 billion, and including assets under administration reached € 34.6 billion.

Lastly, in August, a majority stake (76%) was acquired in Ironbark Funds Management (RE) Ltd, a company operating as trustee and manager of Australian mutual funds, necessary to launch and offer funds locally.

Pietro Giuliani, Azimut's Chairman and CEO, comments: "August numbers strengthen the positive trends we've seen in the previous months, demonstrating that notwithstanding the holiday period and the high volatility on financial markets, our professionals continued to assist our clients in an efficient and timely matter, seizing in many cases some interesting investment opportunities. The value of our business model, based on a strong integration between asset management and distribution, is clearly emerging, allowing us to listen and respond effectively to savers needs. In particular, the Italian figures are attributable to strong organic growth across all networks and divisions of the Group. Despite the instability of the past few weeks, we continue having a positive medium-long term view on Emerging Markets, and we firmly continue with our expansion into higher growth markets such as Turkey, where we recently reorganized the operations with the merger of Azimut Bosphorus into Azimut Portfoy and where we have a market share of 4.9%, and Australia where we continue to consolidate local financial practices and where today we can offer our services to ca. 7000 Australian customers."

Raccolta netta in agosto positiva per € 427 milioni

Il Gruppo Azimut ha registrato nel mese di agosto 2015 una raccolta netta positiva per € 427 milioni, portando così la raccolta netta da inizio anno a superare € 4,7 miliardi (+13% rispetto allo stesso periodo del 2014).

La raccolta netta in Italia è stata di ca. € 400 milioni, mentre dall'estero si evidenziano il consolidamento di LFPS, la terza società di consulenza finanziaria in Australia che entra a far parte di AZ NGA con masse pari a ca. € 110 milioni, ed una uscita straordinaria in Brasile per ca. € 80 milioni.

Il totale delle masse comprensive del risparmio amministrato si attesta a € 34,6 miliardi, di cui € 29,9 miliardi fanno riferimento alle masse gestite.

Infine, nel mese di agosto è stata acquistata una partecipazione di maggioranza (76%) in Ironbark Funds Management (RE) Ltd, una società che svolge le funzioni di trustee e manager di fondi comuni di investimento in Australia, necessaria per lanciare e offrire fondi localmente.
