Description

The securities of Avira Resources Ltd (‘AVW’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of AVW, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 29 April 2024 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Avira Resources Limited (ASX: AVW) ( Avira or the Company ) requests a trading halt of its securities pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1 in connection with a proposed capital raising to be conducted by the Company. The trading halt will allow the capital raise process to take place in an orderly manner.

The Company requests that the trading halt be effective immediately and remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday 29 April 2024, or the release of an announcement in respect to the capital raising.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.

The Company is not aware of any other information that is necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
