Avira Resources Ltd (ASX:AVW) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Avira Resources Ltd (‘AVW’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of AVW, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 16 February 2022 or when the announcement is released to the market.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

Avira Resources Limited (ASX: AVW ) ( Avira or Company ) requests a trading halt of its securities pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1 in connection with a proposed capital raising and project acquisition activities to be conducted by the Company. The trading halt will allow the capital raise process and the project acquisition activities to take place in an orderly manner.

The Company requests that the trading halt be effective immediately and remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday 16 February 2022, or the release of an announcement.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
