Re: Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

AUB Group Limited (ASX:AUB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Shanahan as Chief Financial Officer, effective 12[th] April 2018.

Commencing his career at KPMG, Mr Shanahan has over 25 years’ experience in Chief Financial Officer and senior operational roles across Australia, Asia and Europe. He has significant financial services experience with Macquarie Group Limited (ASX:MQG) where his last role was Chief Financial Officer – Banking & Financial Services Group and more recently in the role of Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer at Australian Ethical Investment Limited (ASX: AEF).

Mr Shanahan has a Bachelor of Commerce and Higher Diploma in Accounting from Rhodes University, South Africa and is a Chartered Accountant in Australia and South Africa. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO & Managing Director, Mr Mark Searles said:

AUB is fortunate to have had an impressive pool of candidates from which to select such a high calibre executive to take on the role of Chief Financial Officer. We are looking forward to Mark joining the team and having the benefit of the experience that he will bring to the role. I would like to add my thanks to outgoing CFO, Jodie Blackledge, who will leave the Company on 11[th] May 2018 after a period of handover has taken place.
