Acquisition Update Silver-Lead-Zinc-Copper Project in Chile
Golden Rim Resources Ltd (ASX: GMR, Golden Rim , Company ) refers to the announcement made on 10 May 2016 regarding a proposed transaction under which the Company will acquire all the issued shares in Herencia Resources plc’s ( Herencia ) wholly owned subsidiary Paguanta Resources (Chile) SA ( PRC ) ( Proposed Transaction ). PRC holds 70% of the shares in Compania Minera Paguanta S.A. ( CMP ) which holds mineral concessions at the Paguanta silverlead-zinc-copper project in northern Chile.
As the formal agreements under the Proposed Transaction are currently being finalised, Golden Rim and Herencia have agreed to extend the period to execution of the formal agreements until 13 June 2016.
Golden Rim is progressing its due diligence investigations. Completion of the Proposed Transaction is subject to all conditions, including commercial, operating, technical, taxation, legal and other due diligence, being satisfied or waivered by no later than 4 July 2016.
