Acquisition Progresses Silver-Lead-Zinc-Copper Project in Chile
Golden Rim Resources Ltd (ASX: GMR, Golden Rim , Company ) is pleased to announce that it has executed the formal documentation for the acquisition of the Paguanata Project in Chile.
The Company had entered into an agreement with Herencia Resources plc ( Herencia ) under which the parties agreed to negotiate in good faith to enter into formal documentation with respect to a proposed transaction for the Company to acquire all the issued shares in Herencia’s wholly owned subsidiary Paguanta Resources (Chile) SA ( PRC ) ( Proposed Transaction ). PRC holds 70% of the shares in Compania Minera Paguanta S.A. which holds mineral concessions at the Paguanta silver-lead-zinc-copper project in northern Chile (see Company announcements of 10 May 2016 and 7 June 2016).
As previously agreed, following execution of the formal documentation, Golden Rim has arranged to provide Herencia with the second tranche of the deposit, being USD100,000.
Golden Rim continues with and is well advanced in its due diligence investigations. Completion of the Proposed Transaction is subject to all conditions, including commercial, operating, technical, taxation, legal and other due diligence, being satisfied or waivered by no later than 4 July 2016.
