TRADING HALT

The securities of Golden Rim Resources Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday 5 May 2014 or when the announcement is released to the market.

TRADING HALT REQUEST (ASX CODE: GMR)

We request the Australian Securities Exchange ( ASX ) to grant a trading halt in respect to Golden Rim Resources Ltd’s securities with immediate effect.

The Company is in the process of finalising funding arrangements. It is expected that the Company will make an announcement regarding the details of the funding arrangements which will effect the end of the trading halt. The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted by the ASX.

We request for the trading halt to continue until the commencement of normal trading on the second trading day after the trading halt has been imposed or, alternatively, pending an announcement by the Company.
