Director Resignation
Golden Rim Resources Ltd (ASX: GMR) ( Golden Rim or Company ) advises that the Board has accepted a letter of resignation from Mr Rick Crabb as Non-Executive Director of the Company.
Mr Crabb joined the board of Golden Rim in 2001 and served as Non-Executive Chairman until October 2016 at which time he stepped down as Chairman and continued to serve as a NonExecutive Director.
During Mr Crabb’s tenure he has provided the Company with leadership and direction through several resource cycles. Mr Crabb’s substantial contribution to the Company and the Board of Golden Rim over a long period of time is acknowledged and greatly appreciated.
Glenister Lamont, Chairman of the Board said “Rick has been instrumental in guiding the Company over many years and, on behalf of the Board, I thank him for his contribution and wish him every success for the future”.
The proposed resolution to approve the issue of director options to Mr Crabb (Resolution 7(c)) at the Company’s 2017 Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held later today will be withdrawn.
Mr Crabb’s resignation is effective upon the close of today’s Annual General Meeting.
