Director Resignation
Golden Rim Resources Ltd ( Golden Rim ; ASX: GMR) today announced that Mr Gilbert Rodgers had resigned from the Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Mr Rodgers has been a director of Golden Rim since 2001 during which time he has played a crucial role in the growth and development of the Company.
Mr Rodgers also holds an executive position with the Company. This position has become redundant and accordingly his employment with Golden Rim will cease on 31 July 2014.
Golden Rim is conscious of cost cutting and the preservation of funds during this difficult financial period. It has conducted numerous financial reviews across the Company and continues to do so with consideration to the Company’s needs and the market place. Effective 1 July 2014, the nondirectors have agreed to reduce their director fees a further 23%. This is in addition to an earlier decrease, reflecting a total reduction of 30% in director fees over the past 12 months.
The Board of Golden Rim thanks Mr Rodgers for his important contribution to the Company over many years and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
