Managing Board decides to buy back shares worth up to EUR 1.0 million

The Managing Board of A.S. Création Tapeten AG, Europe’s leading wallpaper
manufacturer, today decided to buy back shares worth up to EUR 1,000,000.00
in the stock markets. This buy-back programme is to be completed by October
31, 2008. The company currently holds 215,580 own shares purchased under
previous buy-back programmes.

This renewed buy-back is based on the AGM resolution of April 30, 2008,
according to which management was authorised to buy back as many as 300,000
shares (equivalent to 10% of the current share capital) by October 29,
2009.
