A.S. Création Tapeten AG: Search of premises by the Federal Cartel Office

Today the Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt) searched the Gummersbach
premises of A.S. Création Tapeten AG and impounded a number of business
documents. The premises of other German wallpaper manufacturers were
searched simultaneously.

The Federal Cartel Office is investigating whether German wallpaper
manufacturers violated anti-cartel laws through anti-competitive agreements
or coordinated actions. According to statements by the Federal Cartel
Office, the suspicion stems, amongst other things, from information
provided by a wallpaper manufacturer. The investigations relate to the
period since 2005.

Given that the ongoing investigation is obviously still at a very early
stage, the Managing Board of A.S. Création Tapeten AG currently has no
detailed information regarding the facts which may have given rise to these
suspicions. A detailed statement on the matter can therefore not be
provided at this time.
