A.S. Création increases earnings forecast for FY 2012

Between January 1, 2012 and September 30, 2012, A.S. Création Tapeten AG,
Europe's leading wallpaper manufacturer, generated Group sales revenues of
EUR 151.9 million (previous year: EUR 146.6 million) and a net profit of
EUR 6.8 million (previous year: EUR 4.6 million). The Managing Board of
A.S. Création Tapeten AG today approved the interim report for the
nine-month period ended September 30, 2012.

At this stage, the Managing Board expects Group revenues for the full year
2012 to be in line with the company's projections, i.e. between EUR 195
million and EUR 205 million.

With regard to the earnings situation, the Managing Board assumes that the
net profit for the full year 2012 will exceed the company's guidance range
of EUR 6.0 million to EUR 7.0 million. The more optimistic expectations are
mainly attributable to the improved gross profit margin, which is up by
three percentage points on the previous year's 46.0% to 49.0%. On the one
hand, the increase in this important key figure reflects the higher average
sales prices. On the other hand, the situation in the commodity and energy
markets has eased, with prices showing only a moderate upward trend at
present. From today's point of view, the Managing Board expects net profit
for the full year 2012 to amount to between EUR 7.0 million and EUR 8.0
million.
