Active Western Australian gold explorer, Aruma Resources Limited (ASX: AAJ) (“Aruma”) entered into an option agreement to farm-in to two leases, the Bulloo Downs Project, in WA’s Ashburton region following initial reconnaissance which demonstrated the potential for copper prospects. Another lease has been applied for to the west of the optioned leases.
Aruma immediately undertook and has completed a reverse circulation (RC) drilling program for a total of 1,792m in 14 holes at the Bulloo Downs copper project. The holes were drilled on the Madison Line (13 Holes) and the Lachlan Line (one hole) investigating the copper occurrence identified in the initial reconnaissance sampling.

Aruma Resources Limited ("Aruma") has two flagship exploration projects, Glandore Gold located near Kalgoorlie and Bulloo Downs Copper in the emerging Ashburton area, in Western Australia.
Glandore is considered to be both highly prospective for gold as well as highly amenable for the development and exploitation of new deposits. The March quarter’s program consisted of the submission and approval of PoWs on the Glandore Project as well as a breakthrough meeting with the Native Title group to allow exploration on the previously disputed lake areas.
Glandore Gold Project - 40km east of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Drill ready Eastern anomalies exploration approved by Central East Group PoW on Lake Area approved air core holes Clinker Hill Gold Lease - 35 km east of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Status – granted and geochemical sampling confirms anomalies Jundee South Gold Project - 20km south of Jundee Mine Status - RC drilling completed with strong mineralisation found Heritage discussion in progress Bulloo Downs Copper Project optioned Status – First pass RC drilling done Awaiting assay results

Bulloo Downs Copper Project
Aruma has completed a 14-hole reverse circulation (RC) drilling program for a total of 1,792 metres at Bulloo Downs, where the Company has optioned two granted ELs, E52/2024 and 2464. Another lease has been applied for to the west of the optioned leases.
Thirteen holes ranging in depth from 60m to 150m were drilled on the western Madison Trend, while one 172m hole was drilled under an old shaft known as the Bulloo Ilgarari on the Lachlan Trend. These holes are investigating a copper occurrence identified in recent sampling.
Drill samples have been submitted and the results will be released when the assays are confirmed in May.

Bulloo Downs is considered by Aruma to potentially be a new copper district and has strong indications of deep-seated, structurally controlled hydrothermal copper bodies with low contaminants and good accessory metals. The area is in an established copper-producing province that is considered highly prospective for further discoveries.

HyVista
HyVista is an integral part of Aruma’s exploration practices as it gives information on areas that would often be difficult to understand without drilling, such as those with heavy cover. The Bulloo Downs leases were flown with HyVista in late 2013 and the HyMaps generated provide a key tool in identification of the alteration minerals in the area. Figure 3 is an initial HyMap displaying a wide range of minerals. The gossan is clearly visible giving off a strong Kaolinite-Dickite signature. This is indicative of deep-seated crustal structures with hydrothermal mineralisation similar to Ventnor Resources Limited’s Thaduna deposit.
==> picture [497 x 238] intentionally omitted <==
Figure 3 Image of the HyMap over the Madison copper gossan with targets showing alteration. The yellow rectangle is 1600m of >4% Cu Gossan. The Tan rectangle is an intersecting structure that hosts the eastern anomaly and gossan.
EXPLORATION PROGRAM
Another rock chip sampling program will be conducted using the HyVista information along the identified 60km of structures associated with the new copper mineralisation. Upon completion of this program and Heritage surveys booked for May, the area will be reassessed and drilled on the identified targets.
The Lachlan Trend gossan will be investigated as previous drilling and rock chip sampling shows anomalism. The HyVista HyMap also shows a distinct SW-NE trending structure on which the anomalous results occur (see Figure 3 for location).

Following successful sampling and positive results, the additional areas are to be drilled. The sampling results combined with HyVista and historical data analysis will assist in planning a second RC program. The areas of outcropping gossan will be the primary targets along with the zones of significant grade identified by the initial rock chip sampling. Secondary targets will include the areas under cover along the established gossan trend line. These will be drilled in attempt to establish continuity along the structure.
Glandore
Aruma has negotiated Native Title access to its Glandore gold project, 40 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie in the West Australian goldfields, allowing the Company to re-commence exploration drilling.
The resolution comes after the Goldfields Land and Sea Council (GLSC) and the Central East Native Title Group (CEG) conducted a heritage survey of the Glandore area, with Aruma receiving provisional approval from those parties to conduct a 3,000 metre aircore drilling program at the project.
Historical drill chips scanned recently by Aruma confirmed that the mineralisation intersected previously at the Project is typical Golden Mile lode style with good grade and continuity.
The Figures 4 and 5 below show the area to be drilled and the relationships with the lake and the geology, with the targets and drilling being done on the Fluid Flow areas reported in various quarterly, half yearly, and annual reports and also public presentations.
The previously disputed leases P25/2215 and P25/2216 will also have Heritage Agreements signed opening the way for granting and exploration.
Results at Glandore
The previously reported geochemical survey at Steves Prospect defined the mineralisation as 350m long and up to 23m thick. The highly anomalous surface sampling contained values up to 20 g/t gold and visible gold in hand specimens.
The previously announced RC drilling sample assays (21 May 2013) included 5m at 4.3g/t Au from 60m (in GRC103).
The "mineralised zones" (>0.1g/t Au) are between 4m and 10m thick, with an average of over 7m.

Results at Clinker Hill
At the end of the previous quarter, a soil sampling project was completed at Clinker Hill, some 30km east of Kalgoorlie and just south of the Trans Australian Railway line. Aruma completed 255 soil samples with the samples submitted to SGS for analysis for Au (ppb), As, Bi, Cu, Pb, Mn and Zn (all ppm). Analysis was by ICP-MS after an Aqua Regia digest.
Results of the survey indicate a 40 ppb gold anomaly extends from the north western corner of the lease to the south eastern corner. The anomaly has a strike length of approximately 2 kilometres. Within this anomaly there are several +60ppb anomalies, the largest occurring over 2 lines for a strike length of 400 metres. The width of the anomaly is from 40-160 metres for the +40 ppb contour and 20 to 60 metres for the +60ppb contour. Maximum Au value of 132 ppb was recorded.
Drilling by previous operators has only tested the anomaly on one line over the 2 kilometres of strike. This drill line on 6580540mN has not fully tested the anomaly. The drilling was by vertical relatively shallow RAB holes. Extensive metal detector and clearing has taken place on the eastern and western sides of the anomaly around 6580540mN and extends for a length of some 500 metres.
Multi element data (As, Bi, Cu, Pb and Zn) do not show any anomalism, and only minor variation.
Mapping of the regolith indicates the gold in soil anomaly is not confined to lateritic material. The two largest values are in a silty loam soil. There does appear to be a correlation of increased Au in soil in calcareous soils.
