4. Brief Profile Ronnie joined Tata Press Ltd. in 1976 at the
age of 17 as a trainee in the Finance
Department. In 1986, he moved to Titan
Company Ltd. then called Titan Industries
Ltd., as one of the founding members of the
company and was with Titan till his
retirement in December 2019.
In 2005, while he was General Manager –
Finance at Titan, and after more than 25
years in Finance, an opportunity came up
within the Company to head a Strategic
Business Unit (SBU) which would specifically
target the youth. The SBU also looked after
the licensing and distribution of fashion
watch brands in the company’s portfolio. As
Vice President and SBU head of Fastrack, he
was responsible for making Fastrack into
one of the most iconic youth brands in the
Country.
In 2013, he was elevated to the position of
Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing
Officer for the Watches & Accessories

responsible for the marketing of all the watch brands of Titan Company Ltd, viz. Titan, Sonata, Fastrack, Raaga, Xylys, etc. In 2015 he took over as Chief Executive Officer of the Eyewear Division of Titan Company Limited and held that position till his retirement in December 2019. Ronnie Talati is a B.Com and LLB graduate from Bombay University. Since his retirement, he has held board positions as an independent director, does consulting assignments and continues to mentor multiple startups. 5.
