GUD Holdings Acquires New Zealand Automotive Wholesaler

GUD Holdings has announced the acquisition of New Zealand-based automotive accessory wholesaler, Griffiths Equipment Limited.

Griffiths has managed the distribution of Narva and Projecta products in New Zealand for many years, of which annual sales (already included in BWI reported results) are approximately $10 million. Griffiths has been active in the New Zealand market since 1960 and in addition sells a range of automotive accessories under its own brands. It has sales turnover of approximately $8 million and will complement GUD’s current range of automotive products in New Zealand consisting of Ryco, Goss, Narva and Projecta.

The Griffiths business will fall under the Brown & Watson International reporting structure and will continue to be managed by Peter Griffiths.

The transaction is expected to complete on 1 October 2016.
