Ambu — Major Shareholding Notification 2012

We hereby report that Dorrit Ragle, Chr. Winthers Vej 18B, 2800 Lyngby has
transferred a number of Ambu A-shares to her grand children. Dorrit Ragle will
keep the voting right relating to the transferred shares. Subsequently Dorrit
Ragle’s total shareholding of A- and B- shares is 479,740 shares of DKK 10 in
Ambu A/S and she now possesses 4% and has an unchanged voting right of 22.6%.
