AMMG APPOINTS MR RIC DAWSON AS INAUGURAL MANAGING DIRECTOR TO SPEARHEAD GROWTH PHASE

Australia Minerals and Mining Group Ltd ( ASX: AKA ) ( “AMMG” or “the Company” ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ric Dawson as its inaugural Managing Director.

Mr Dawson was previously Managing Director of Prosperity Resources Limited, a Western Australian based gold, copper and iron ore explorer.

As a qualified geologist, Mr Dawson has over 25 years experience in the Australian and international resource industries.

His achievements include:

• Founder and Managing Director of ASX-listed Prosperity Resources Limited (ASX: PSP), where he successfully managed and developed the Company’s exploration projects in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Indonesia; including o Directed the advancement of the Masuparia gold porphyry Project, Indonesia;

• Managed, discovered and developed the Woolshed Iron Ore Project at Mt Gibson, Western Australia;

• • Lead commercial negotiations and agreements with numerous Chinese steel companies, one of which was a subsidiary of Shougang Corporation;

• Played a key role in successful capital raisings for acquisitions, joint ventures and IPO’s for various junior exploration companies, having worked for 10 years for one of the leading Australian broking firms.

AMMG Chairman Mr Luke Atkins said Mr Dawson’s experience within the resources sector would provide an exceptional foundation to lead the Company.

“Mr Dawson has an excellent understanding of our Company and has an extensive and successful track record in senior executive and financial/marketing roles in the resources sector.”

“AMMG is entering a new phase of development with its bulk mineral projects of gypsum and kaolin at Lake Macleod and Meckering respectively, alongside the Constance Range iron ore project. The Company will be well positioned to explore and develop its portfolio of

properties this year and welcomes the expertise of Ric Dawson to its executive leadership team. Ric’s previous managing director and capital raising experience, combined with his strong geological background and excellent industry and investment networks, make him extremely well suited to spearhead the next growth phase of the Company.”

Mr Dawson said he was delighted to be joining AMMG at an exciting time in the Company’s development.

“AMMG has a strong and experienced board of directors, is well resourced and has an excellent project portfolio. I look forward to leading the Company as it continues to build on the solid foundations laid since listing last year, by advancing the projects to create significant value for our shareholders,” Mr Dawson said.

Following the appointment, Mr Atkins’ role will change from executive Chairman to nonexecutive Chairman. Mr Atkins will continue to maintain an active interest in the Company at this stage of its development.
