APPOINTMENT OF GROUP GEOLOGIST

The Board of Australia Minerals & Mining Group Ltd (AMMG) ( ASX: AKA ) is pleased to announce that William (Chub) Witham, who had previously been acting in a consulting capacity to the Board, has been appointed to the position of Group Geologist.

Mr Witham is a qualifed geologist who holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Western Australia and is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists. Mr Witham has held the position of Managing Director and exploration manager for various Australian mining companies over the past 21 years. He has also worked in the government and financial sectors of the resources industry. Mr Witham’s commodity experience includes base metals, gold, iron-ore, uranium, tantalum, coal and platinum group metals.

He was previously the Managing Director of ASX listed Whinnen Resources Limited and has been a director of DSF International Holdings Ltd, GSF Corporation Limited, DMC Mining Limited and Windy Knob Resources Limited. He has worked for a number of international and Australian companies including Mount Isa Mines, Aerodata Holdings Ltd, World Geoscience Corporation Ltd, Mineral Securities Limited, Australian Heritage Group Ltd, Northern Gold NL, Curtin University and the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission.
