Aker Solutions and AF Gruppen Terminate Process

December 17, 2021 - Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement on July

1, 2021 (https://www.akersolutions.com/news/news-archive/2021/aker-solutions-and

-af-gruppen-join-forces-to-create-a-leading-global-offshore-decommissioning-and

-recycling-company/), regarding the letter of intent to merge the two companies'

existing offshore decommissioning operations.

Although the strategic rationale is still strong, the parties have not succeeded

in reaching a final agreement, and the process is hereby ended. Aker Solutions

looks forward to continuing a constructive relationship with AF Gruppen in other

business areas in the future.
