Aker Horizons AS: Successful placement of new unsecured green bonds

Aker Horizons AS has today successfully completed a new senior unsecured green bond issue of NOK 2,500 million with maturity in August 2025. The bond issue was placed with a coupon of 3 months NIBOR + 3.25% p.a. with quarterly interest payments.

The net proceeds will be used towards eligible green projects in accordance with the Green Financing Framework.

Aker Horizons has now secured attractive long-term capital to fund the acquisition of Mainstream Renewable Power as well as fuel other ongoing initiatives. With this transaction, along with the placement of equity and subordinated convertible bonds last week, Aker Horizons has established a robust capital structure providing a strong basis for future growth”, says Kristian Røkke, CEO of Aker Horizons.

DNB Markets and Nordea acted as Joint Global Coordinators and Green Bond Advisors and Pareto, SEB and Swedbank as Joint Bookrunners for the bond issue
