Aker BioMarine is awarded a NOK 21.5 million grant from Innovation Norway for krill protein launch plant

Fornebu – 18th December 2020

Aker BioMarine receives a grant of NOK21.5 million from Innovation Norway to cover development activities on krill protein for human consumption at its planned launch plant in Norway. The launch plant requires an investment of around NOK 150 million and Innovation Norway will contribute NOK 21.5 million to cover operating costs for a period of three years.

The company will in Q1 2021 invite to a presentation of its work within the protein segment.
