Airtasker Limited (ASX: ART) – Trading Halt
Description
The securities of Airtasker Limited (‘ART’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of ART, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 6 May 2022 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for trading halt - Airtasker Limited (ASX:ART)
Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, Airtasker Limited (ACN 149 850 457) (ASX:ART) ( Company ) requests a trading halt be granted by the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in respect of the Company's ordinary shares with immediate effect.
For the purpose of Listing Rule 17.1, the Company provides the following information:
-
1 the Company is seeking the trading halt in order to conduct a capital raising by way of an underwritten institutional placement in connection with the acquisition of a business;
-
2 the Company requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of the Company making an announcement to the market about the completion of the institutional placement and the commencement of trading on Friday, 6 May 2022; and
-
3 the Company expects that the trading halt will be ended by it making an announcement to the ASX in relation to the completion of the institutional placement; and
-
4 the Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, or of any other information available at this stage that is relevant to the trading halt.
This request for a trading halt has been approved by the Company's Board of Directors.
