ÅF wins framework agreement as A-supplier to Vattenfall

ÅF and Vattenfall have signed a new three-year A-supplier agreement that spans 2015-2017 with an optional one year extension. The volume of this contract is estimated at about SEK 500 million over three years.

The A-supplier agreement covers all of Vattenfall's power generation, including nuclear, hydro, and thermal power – areas in which ÅF is strong.

"I think the main reason that Vattenfall chooses to work with ÅF is that during previous contract periods we have shown through our work that we can tangibly reduce Vattenfall's costs, especially in the projects we deliver to them," says Per Magnusson, President of the Industry Division. "It's quite simply profitable for Vattenfall to use ÅF."
