ÅF wins key framework agreement with Vattenfall

As a leading technical consultant, ÅF has worked with Vattenfall for many years. When Vattenfall sought partners in the areas of nuclear power, hydropower and wind power ÅF was a natural choice.

On 10 February 2009 ÅF and Vattenfall signed a four-year framework agreement spanning 2009-2012. The agreement applies to technical consulting services and encompasses everything from project management, fact-finding and analysis to technical calculations.

ÅF won the agreement by demonstrating its breadth and depth of expertise as well as the will to develop its partnership with Vattenfall.

Before the agreement was signed, Vattenfall was already one of ÅF's largest customers. The agreement is expected to significantly increase sales to Vattenfall.
