Selected to rehabilitate Rud upper secondary school
Betonmast, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been selected by Akershus county authority for the rehabilitation of parts of Rud Upper Secondary School in Bærum. The contract, which is a turnkey contract, is valued at approximately NOK 165 million excluding VAT.
The project includes a complete interior rehabilitation with new technical systems and a high degree of reuse. Among other things, it plans to reuse doors, interior walls, sanitary installations, and radiators, in addition to some furniture. The total gross floor area is 8,400 m².
“Betonmast has completed a number of school projects in recent years. With extensive experience in school buildings and strong environmental competence, we look forward to rehabilitating Rud Upper Secondary School,” says Peter Sandrup, CEO of Betonmast.
The contract signing is expected around mid-November. Construction is estimated to start in the first quarter of 2025 with completion in the summer of 2026.
