Building rental apartments in Malmö

Betonmast, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has signed a contract with MKB (Malmös kommunala bostadsbolagom) to build 142 rental apartments in Malmö. This turnkey contract is valued at approximately SEK 198 million, excluding VAT.

Three buildings between four and nine floors, will be built. The total gross area will be around 13,500 square metres. Construction is scheduled to commence during the fourth quarter of 2020, with completion during the fourth quarter of 2022.

“There is a good demand for modern rental apartments in Sweden’s major cities, and this is the fourth contract we have signed recently for the construction of such apartments,” says CEO Jørgen Evensen at Betonmast.
