Nominated for new contract by Norwegian Defence Estates Agency

Målselv Maskin & Transport, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been nominated as contractor for a new building and construction project for the external perimeter at Evenes air base. The client is the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency.

The building and construction work will be carried out at Evenes air base with expected completion in 2022. The contract is a general contract with an estimated value of NOK 136 million, excluding VAT. The project will be carried out on military ground and is subject to significant security restrictions. The contract will mainly comprise:

• Removal of 12 km existing fence

• 12 km road

• 12 km fence with 5-6 gates

• Associated infrastructure

• 3 km internal perimeter with 3 road gates and associated infrastructure
